STEPHEN N. DETTOR
Founder, CEO and Owner
Since 1981
Stephen N. Dettor founded Fast-Dry Courts, Inc. in 1987. Previously, Mr. Dettor served as President and Owner of Fast-Dry Corporation, a wholesale distributor of tennis court supplies that he started in 1981. Before founding Fast-Dry Corporation, Mr. Dettor spent 10 years with Hardrives, a large paving company based in south Florida. In his time with Hardrives, Mr. Dettor served in a variety of roles in the tennis court construction and paving division, including Estimator, Sales Manager and General Manager and President of Asphalt Paving Plant.
Mr. Dettor has over 50 years of experience in the tennis court construction industry. He has served on the tennis court construction technical specifications committee for the American Sports Builders Association. In this capacity Mr. Dettor assisted in writing the national specifications for tennis court construction. He is widely regarded as one of the foremost experts on tennis court construction and maintenance in the United States . Under Mr. Dettor's leadership, Fast-Dry Courts, Inc. was named national "Court Builder of the Year" in 2005 by Racquet Sports Industry Magazine. Mr. Dettor is also a speaker at USPTA, USTA and ASBA technical events. Steve was a Captain in U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, and was a recipient of the Bronze Star for service in Vietnam. He attended Florida Atlantic University and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

TRIMMER DETTOR

Trimmer B. Dettor joined 10-S Tennis Supply in May of 2006, when it was acquired by Fast-Dry Corporation. Previously, Trimmer served as Vice President for Fast-Dry Corporation, a wholesale distributor of tennis court supplies, equipment and accessories. Trimmer joined Fast-Dry Corporation in 2002 and was responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the company. Prior to joining Fast-Dry Corporation, Trimmer owned and operated a kayak tour operator, Kayak Bimini, based in Bimini, Bahamas. Trimmer started Kayak Bimini in January of 1998 and successfully built the company from a one-man operation focused solely on Kayak rental to a multi-employee, full-service tour operator, including rentals, tours, travel and accommodations. Trimmer is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

TODD DETTOR

Todd serves as Chief Idea Officer for Fast-Dry Courts, Head of Product Development for 10-S Tennis Supply and President and Founder of Tennclosure Fence Systems, LLC. He also covers sales of new residential construction in south Florida and all Caribbean and international construction and resurfacing sales. Todd serves as qualifying GC for Fast-Dry Courts. While attending college at FAU, he worked as a dock master and valet at Houston's Restaurant in Pompano Beach, FL from 1993-1999. His employment there afforded him the opportunity to learn about excellent customer service and the art of patience to deal effectively and professionally with all different types of hungry people. Upon graduation from FAU and from 2000-2003 he served as a project manager for Fast-Dry Courts, along with his brother, David, to professionally resurface Har-Tru courts throughout south Florida. During this same period, Todd served as the maintenance account manager for Fast-Dry Courts and was influential in further securing long-term relationships with clients for whom FDC built Har-Tru tennis courts. After a snowboarding injury in 2003 forced Todd to take an "office job" within FDC, he learned about hard court construction and resurfacing. Todd headed up the hard court resurfacing segment of the business for his south Florida territory and was in charge of the entire customer engagement process from sales to project management to project completion. With the help of Frank Froehling handling sales in northern Florida counties and with guidance from his father, Stephen Dettor, Todd helped develop this segment of FDC's business model which has proven to be a critical component in revenue growth in recent years. In 2010, Todd founded a new company, Tennclosure Fence Systems, LLC, which acts as the company that develops, markets and installs a patent pending retractable fence system, Tennclosure®, for tennis courts and other applications. Todd graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Sculpture in April 1999. Todd is a Florida State Licensed General Contractor (CGC-1518034) and has served on the Board of Directors of the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) since 2018. David H. Dettor joined the Fast-Dry Corporation in June of 2000 as a Project Manager. David built and resurfaced clay tennis courts for 8 years before leaving for a Construction Manager position for a N.C. restaurant company in 2008. He returned to Fast-Dry Courts, Inc. in May of 2011. David is currently responsible for the day-to-day operations for Fast-Dry Courts, Inc. David attended Santa Fe Community College & Broward Community College and studied Business Administration.

PAUL BAKER

Paul graduated from the University of Florida in 1999 with a degree in Business Finance. After graduation, Paul began his career as Purchasing Manager at All Service Refuse, a subsidiary of the Hudson Group, where he oversaw a budget in excess of $100 Million. The Hudson Group later merged into Republic Services of Florida, L.P. where Paul was promoted to Area Sales Manager and responsible for all sales directives for the South Florida, Treasure Coast, Orlando, Naples, and Tampa Bay areas. During his tenure at Republic Services, Paul was a member of the Financial Annual Report Committee, delegated all sales initiatives from a Corporate directive, and served as a liaison to the CEO & COO. In 2006, Paul transitioned to Ace Waste Services, LLC a privately owned commercial solid waste leader for the South Florida market. Paul served as Vice-President and oversaw all facets of the company including all governmental relations, municipal agreements, and asset acquisitions. In 2014, Paul orchestrated the sale of Ace Waste Services, LLC to a Fortune 500 company. During that year, Paul founded Blue Marlin Capital, LLC, a real estate and investment firm primarily focused on the construction and development of commercial warehousing and waterfront residential assets. In 2018, Paul co-founded Ace Construction Enterprises, LLC, a construction company primarily focused on the redevelopment of commercial and luxury residential assets.
In 2019, Paul partnered with Fast Dry Courts, Inc. and the Dettor Family, a relationship of trust that has grown and survived for over three decades. Paul currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and oversees the company operations, contractual negotiations, and legal matters. Aside from the company, Paul sits on the Board of Directors for Fort Lauderdale Little League. Paul believes in giving back to the community, and has actively participated as a volunteer football, baseball, and softball coach over the past decade with the Fort Lauderdale Sports and Recreation Division. Paul’s passions include trading option premiums, real estate development, coaching, and fishing with his family.

Victor attended flight school in North Carolina after high school and earned an Associate degree in Aviation Management before moving on to East Carolina University to study Construction Management. He moved to Florida in 1998 with his soon to be wife and has never looked back. His professional experience has taken him through various roles within the aviation industry followed by 13 years in the metal building industry. Victor came into the sports court industry, starting at Fast Dry Courts in 2020 seeking a new career path that would be as challenging as it was rewarding. Victor’s focus is on resurfacing existing hard courts, building new courts, but his primary goal is building lasting relationships within the athletic community. Victor’s passions include diving, surfing, Hawaiian outrigger canoe racing, and watching his son play soccer.

Rich Sanzare joined Fast-Dry Courts, Inc. in 2004. Previously, Rich was the Controller for a flooring company and an interior design firm in Fort Lauderdale . Prior to that, Rich was the President and CEO of Miami Marketing, an export company, and also the owner/GM of Charts Records in Phoenix, AZ. Rich has over 20 years experience in management, operations, and business accounting; retail, wholesale, service, and construction.
