After having to cancel the 2020 Miami Open due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2021 Miami Open became a reality when IMG and Hard Rock Stadium partnered with Fast-Dry Courts to resurface all 29 courts for this year’s tournament. The 29 courts, originally built in 2019 by FDC, have been resurfaced before the tournament each year and offer the award-winning tennis facility a grandstand court, 10 competition courts and 18 practice courts. The Grandstand Court served as the main tournament court this year. Fast-Dry Courts was presented the “2020 Outdoor Tennis Facility of Year Award” for their work at the Miami Open. This year’s Miami Open welcomed some of the world’s best players like Naomi Osaka, Daniil Medvedev and Venus Williams.
